This is a great sandy, no drive beach perfect for splashing in the surf, walking and building sand castles. Walk for miles and miles in either direction; you will not run out of beach!

The Sea Turtle Condo Rental is on a great location right on the beach in Ormond by the Sea, Florida on the beautiful Atlantic ocean. The big difference between the east and the west coast of Florida can be summed up in two words: Waves and Value. Unlike the Gulf coast, our area beaches get waves and waves are wonderful. They are mesmerizing to watch and so much fun to play in.
The Atlantic ocean has so many moods from tranquil to crashing; enjoy its changes. Guests often ask what is the difference between "Ormond Beach and Ormond by the Sea?" The city of Ormond Beach includes both non-beach and beach areas and spans from west of I-95 across the intercoastal and all the way east to the Atlantic Ocean.
Ormond by the Sea is only located on the barrier island, which is about 1/2 mile wide. You are right on the beach here. Folks love the easy going beach community. Life is casual here....it's all about the beach. Our Seawinds building is just 2 miles north of the main street of Granada Blvd., which is the main street of Ormond Beach.
You will drive past expansive and expensive oceanfront mansions and low rise condo buildings unlike the crowded beaches and high rise buildings you will find to the south in Daytona Beach and southern Florida. Same ocean, but what a difference in price. In Ormond Beach, you can easily afford an oceanfront condo rental for less than the price you would pay for a location down the block or across the street from the beach on the Gulf Coast or in South Florida.
